Question about 1991 Ford Ranger Supercab
When taking off from a dead stop, the engine raps high in 1st gear and then shifts to 2nd very briefly then into 3rd. The time in second gear is very brief. Tried disconnecting the battery to reset the computer but that did not work.
That sound means the transmission fluid is dirty. Go to a shop and get a BG Power Flush.
