pop the trunk and right behind where the lights are pull the carpet
down and their will be of the following depending on the trim.
You will either see the light sockets themselves that you can twist and pull to change the bulb, or you will see the plastic nuts/screws that you can remove to remove the entire assembly in order to access the bulbs.
If it's your 3rd brake light, the screws to access the housing are located in the upper part of the trunk

do this, dont use the button or any button to lock your doors, just manually lock it. It will stop then. Then you can fix the problem, under the mat on the back of the trunk there should be a black box back there, if you open that up there will be a sensitivity level, where you can make it so low nothing would set it off or so high even rain would make it go off. Or you may need a new box, but that would have to be done by chevy due to codes for that car

If it has no spark you might try to replace the ign. module by the drivers side hood hinge attached to fender . Bought this part at pull a part for less than ten dollars. Put it on and cranked right up. Be sure t seal the water out when replacing.
