Question about 1993 Dodge Intrepid

Gages work sometimes

When i turn my 93 chrysler intrepid on, it starts but my gages wont work. sometimes they work and some times they dont, please help me with this problem?

    I had the same problem, with the additional twist that if I went ahead and drove, the car didn't want to shift gears. If I waited until the gauges work, it shifted fine.

Hi! Check the circuit that controlled the gauges,it sounds as if u are having a slack connection some where.This could be bad ,for slack connection generates heat which could lead to burning of the circuit.

Wiper dont work speedometer dont work radio and heat blower dont work rpm gage drives between 3-4 bright lights dont work automatic windows and locks dont work


sounds like might b a main fuse. do u have a kick panel and a box under the hood? sometimes a main relay or fuse will cause many electric things to go out.

2000 elentra is overheating i changed thermostat and fan will turn on sometimes


Could be the second fan motor or a relay. Have the circuit tested for the second fan.

Chrysler interepid quitting suddenly and some times it works again and sometimes it takes time


Its either a Dodge Intrepid or Chrysler Concorde or LHS.
You'll have to figureout if it is a fuel or ignition problem when it won't start.Isthe check engine light on ?

do you hear the starter turning the engine over or do you hear a single click?

If you hear a single click than a new starter will solve the problem.

93 intrepid wont start


turn key to on position do not crank engine when gas gauge moves up and all lights up in dash you should her a grunt sound from back seat area to deterimne if fuel pump is working no grunt no fuel pump!!
