When follolwing my vacuum lines on my 2006 ford f 150 i have one line that is not hooked up to anything but everything is working fine is this an air intake line or is it supposed to be hooked up to...

Is it on the back of the intake manifold ?

If so, that could be caused by the recall for replacing the vacuum line to the brake booster.

I would think if this is the case, the brakes would be feeling a bit mushy by now.

Can you post a picture of where it is located, and the engine size. I can compare it to my 2006 to give you an idea ( mine is a 5.4L ).

My 1997 astro van is using alot of gas what could

You may need a tune up, spark plugs and plug wires. I would also consider replacing the fuel filter, if it has been replaced. Also check the air filter.

How do i replace air flow meter on 1992 volvo 240 wagon. It stalls at low speed, intermittently.

It is a can shaped air flow sensro, in the plastic intake hose. To replace it all you have to do is pull the electrical connector, unscrew the clamps on the line on both sides, and switch out the sensor. Make sure you have the correct sensor, there were 3 different types used.

Ford f-150 will crank but not start or stay running

Look on the throttle body for a little cylinder with an electrical connector on it. Use the handle of screwdriver to give that a few whacks while someone starts the engine after it starts, give a few more whacks. Engine running now? Replace the Intake Air Control motor. or IAC.

Van won't start when weather is cold

Try using higher octane fuel or octane boost in the winter this is a common problem on the dodge V-8s,after about 60,000 miles. However yours sounds like fuel line freeze up V-8s experience moisture in the fuel lines. Higher octane should help you may also wish to change your fuel filter, and run a fuel line cleaner through your van Seafoam is a good one.
