Where is the shift soleniod located?

The transmission shift solenoids are located in the valve body, which is in the transmission. If you remove the transmission pan you will see the valve body. I believe any faulty shift solenoids are serviced as an entire valve body on the Avengers.

98 Dodge Avenger Shifting Problem

I would take it to a couple of different trans shops for advice.
Not really possible to "test" a transmission by driving it.
It has an over-ride safety to shift up even if the selector is in low.
My first guess would be the clutches are slipping or there is a solenoid that is not holding.
May be trouble codes in the computer.

Trans will go into rev and low but will not shift out automatically or manually 2007 doge 3500 with automatic trans model # P528542158A

If your transmission fluid is good (and not totally burned up - give it the smell test) you have a problem with the shift solenoid in the transmission - either it is the solenoid or the electrical wire powering it.

08 dodge avenger stuck in park

Its the Shift Park Lockout mechanism. You can watch a video on you tube from Billets. They make a replacement part that is not as fragil as the plastic one from the factory.

Im looking for the spark plugs in my 2008 doge avenger and i cant find them i will like to change them my self

The Spark plugs in your Avenger is good for 100,000 miles and you should not need to replace them unless there is a problem, which would be indicated by the Mill light on the dash. If you must, you can pick up the spark plugs at Auto Zone and they can give you the step by step instructions to replacing the spark plugs with common tools. Good luck. Note: It's common for the doge tech to reset the engine when doing a tune up to prevent any misfire that occur when new plugs are installed.
