Question about 1997 Cadillac Catera
We have tail lights but no break lights bulbs are good and fuse is good ?
Check for a Relay for them under the hood if there is a fuse box,In the engine compartment .Allso check the fuses in it allso, Some manufacters use more then one fuse, Like on one of the (HyundaI.s) that i own, There is a fuse block in the engine compartment with a fuse for each (Brake) light, Plus a (Relay) End it is not (Showin) in the (Owners manaul for that car.

create your own earth wire off the original and screw/bolt to a good earth source.Nothing flash just a test if it works make a more permanant one

Check to see if the yellow wire is broken at the connection right below the lights. I just had to repair broken wires on both sides where they had broken off at the connections
