SOURCE: Adjust headlights on a 2004 Saab 9-3

Check the fuse box under the hood on drivers side, it will be number 17 and a 10 amp. this vehicle has automatic headlight adustment when you crank the car. If the fuse is blown the lights will point down to keep from blinding oncoming traffic.

SOURCE: Saab 2004 9-3 Convertible

Had same problem, in the boot right hand side, behind the removable panel there is :
1 - a hydraulic reservoir which must be at correct level.
2 - a black box (stc) this controls the roof system,
switch ignition off then pull the 2 connectors off for 30sec then reconnect.
This worked and hope this resolves your problem

SOURCE: 2004 Saab 9-4 sunroof fuse

it should be in the drivers side panel, and if its not marked, then remove fuses one at a time to see which one is blown....

SOURCE: how do I replace my 2004 Saab 9 3 linear's water pump.

Re : the computer , they better cover it under warranty or they ****.
Re : the water pump , you have a leak and they say it is the water pump , I have no reason to doubt that they have honestly checked out the problem and determined that a new water pump is the only solution but , damn $ 1000 is pretty steep. I would look around for another mechanic for a second opinion and a quote. Avoid dealerships. Not sure what engine you have but i just looked in my saab with a 2.3 and hope I never have to do mine. I am pretty good with a wrench but I know there would be lots of swearing involved.

The gear stick on my 2004 saab is blocked. why?

Before you try to fix anything, try applying the foot brake really, really, really hard when you shift out of park. If that makes it better, take it to a mechanic for adjustment.

Just bought it to dat,2004 saab sedan,on the way home suddenly was dificult to shift then even to shift in to 1st or 2nd gear, cant fin were to check transmition fluid to see if low ?????

The manual transmission doesn't have one - just drain and fill plugs. The disptick is accessiable from underneath on the automatic. It is on the front of the box and only small and green, held in place with a 12mm bolt. Hope this helps, James Booth. It sounds to me like your clutch is going out.

2004 saab 9-3 turbo won't accelerate

i am the owner of a 2004 saab 9-3 that had the same problem. the car could barely make it up a slight incline.

after diagnostics, they determined that it was a faulty "pedal travel sensor" (engine code P1238), which cost $590. after labor and taxes, my total came to $747.53. yikes.

sucked to pay that much, but it fixed the problem.

04saab93linear rpms spike up when going down hills slowly

This is a common feature on many cars. If you press the brake on the way down the hill, the transmission will downshift and keep RPMs high in order to prevent your speed from increasing too much. If this bothers you, you can simply shift into neutral and brake manually. The only other option is to coast freely down the hill without brakes. No brakes = no downshift = no high RPMs.

No power to accelerate after replacing battery

if the battery was dead for at least a hour, the computers are resetting its self, try to drive it slow about to 30mph for a couple days computers will change the way transmission shifts and how the rpms act.
