Died going down the road and wouldnt restart. Motor turns but acts like its not getting fuel. It did same thing a few months ago and fixed itsself somehow, Can hear fuel pump come on when i turn ignition switch

i know that if ur car died it most likely has something to do with the alternator or the process in which the fuel gets to the spark

COULD BE A BAD FUEL PUMP EVEN THOUGH ITS NEW, TRY THE FUSES IN THE MAIN FUSE BOX UNDER THE HOOD, ALSO TRY DISCONNECTING THE BATTERY CABLES FOR ABOUT 5 MINS, LASTLY IT MAY BE THE ECM [computer on fire wall]

you need to find out if your missing spark at plugs or fuel pressure,you could hear the pump but that doesn't tell you if you have 5psi or 55psi,
you will need a fuel preesure gauge and check that on the fuel rail redd valve if you end up having spark
