The voltage will be less than 12 volts, the battery will fail a load test.

My bmw 320i 05 model wont start (no sound) and there is no dead battery sign on the dash board

If your battery is dead enough, even the dead battery indicator won't light. Take the battery to an autoparts store for a bench test/charge first before trying anything else.

97 ford explorer battery reading low change battery change alternator

Take it to Advance auto they do a system test for FREE that will tell you what needs to be changed. Or you can check it just start it up unplug battery if it stays running then the battery is bad. If it shuts off then its the alternator.

How can you tell if the alternator is bad or if the belt has to be changed

The belt is obvious

You change that, as you always have on any vehicle
Every 4,5,6 years ,whatever you feel like

The Alternator, you put a volt meter across the battery
terminals & start the vehicle
You need 14 volts to charge a battery to 12.65 volts

Replaced starter and bought a new battery and when turn the air on while driving it idles up and down and threatens to go dead at a stop sign

You need to clean the throttle body. When the new battery was connected, the PCM reverted to the default settings which do not work well with the poor air flow in a dirty throttle body. Prior to changing the battery, the PCM had compensated gradually for the dirty TB.

MY CAR WONT START HAVE CHARGED THE BATTERY HEARD CLICKING WEN FIRST TRYED TO START IT BUT NOW WEN I GO TO START IT DONT HEAR CLICKING AN DONT HAVE LIGHTS ON THE DASH

Just because you charged the battery doesn't mean it held a charge or is capable of starting the car. To me it sounds like a dead battery or a bad cable. do you have a meter to check the voltage of the battery, if it is below 12 volt you are going to have trouble starting the car. The clicking is a sign of a weak battery or bad starter selenoid, no lights tell me a dead battery or like I said bad cable. Check all the cables from the battery to the starter and ground, look for looseness or corrosion.
