Question about 2003 GMC Envoy
Sometimes it works fine, but only on high speed. If it doesn't work at all I can usually get it going by turning the vehicle on and off several times.
Your problem most likely is the resistor block. In order to limit the fan speed a reistor is placed in the circuit which will limit current flow to the motor thus giving you the diferent speeds. High speed bypasse the resistor to get full motor speed. Since you only get high speed it is very likely that the resistor block is faulty

had same problem on my XUV. changed the blower motor resistor, located under passenger side dash. easy to change, works no problem.

SOURCE: blower dosent blow on high
fan blower speed switch under hood usually in fire wall or in heater box under dash area if you do not change it you will keep losing all your speeds until nothing left! it is not!!!!the one in your dash that you hand operate! hope this helps.John
