Wal mart sells after market plags for this car
and they are around 6 to 12 dollars and include the diagram to wire it in (if the factory harness no longer exists)

I am trying ti install a pioneer stereo in my 04 cavalier and the speakers hum but no stations come in

Check to make sure all connects are right and the ground is connected to a good clean body surface. It is best to use a factory ground, the wire is black and the bolt/screw will be green. Also use the originl stereo's power wire.

I have a toyota trueno 1992 and i want to put a new stereo in it

Go to the auto parts store and get a wire adaptor made for a 1992 trueno. It will plug into your factory harness. The wire colors are prematched to your sony and other aftermarket stereos. Just match the wire colors, splice with connectors making sure no wires are exposed. (A little electrical tape for good measure around splices helps). Then it just plugs in. If your factory stereo has mounts that screw onto the radio, unscrew them and attach them to the sony. Remove sleeve from radio and discard. The screw holes are already on the sony.

Iam try to wire a aftermarket stereo on a 1987 gmc jimmy using stock plug ins but every time i put on brakes stereo goes off Ive checked all wires to make sure none are bare also made sure nothing...

Could be a ground problem. You take the ground out of the harness and run it to the body or run a ground from the radio back to the body or both.

It is best to buy a connector pigtail for Ford, but you can wire directly using the below color code for the factory wiring. use the color code from the pioneer to match to the factory wires. If you have more questions, please reply.

if you have not cut the factory connectors off of the car, go to any store that sells radios and buy the connection plugs, they are about $10. the packages list what car each one is for.

If you have cut them, get back to me and i will give you the wiring specs.
