There is a clicking sound that is coming from inside the motor and it doesn't stop. Do you know what's the matter??

Most likely problem is a failing hydraulic lifter. This can be verified by removing the valve cover and checking valve lash. The lifter must be replaced or the camshaft will be damaged. If you have more questions, please let us know.

All lifters started clicking at once

Sounds more likely to be a timing rattle rather then all the lifters at once making noise, if your EGR valve is bad this will happen and if the timing is off it will also do this, I can't buy the theory all 16 hydraulic lifters are noisey unless you over reved it something fierce, or ran it out of oil, or had someone loosen all the rockers.

Clicking noise

Probably not lose - more likely sticking.

The 'old' way of curing this was to dump a quart of kerosene into the oil, let it idle for a half-hour, drain oil, change filter replace oil.

You might try using one of several products at parts stores that claim to free 'sticky' lifters.

The clicking, if coming from the lifters indicates that the lifter no longer travels freely and the near-zero clearance isn't any more.
