SOURCE: Hi my first question here: I

Alright friend what I'm going to say may not be what your looking for BUT what it is, is something to think about and take it to heart.with everything you need to do you need to do to the car this is most likely the best thing for you to do. For starts why make it all stock you have the parts already to make it even faster then it was, someone has spent the money for you. Now i don't know you reasons for changing thing back maybe most of the go fast parts where broke in the wreck or just plan out a poorly installed. Anyways make friend with your speed shop at works on audi's make friends with the guys at the parts store and the dealership shop. I dealer will be able to get you the microfiche, dealer repair manuals and tips and tricks that only the dealer are lucky to get. The guys at the speed shop and parts store will be able offer ideas, parts and tip or things that would work better for you then o.e.m parts. Haven those ties will help you when you need a hand, bounce idea around and help hold a part up while you put in a bolt.
In short the being able to talk to a person and get answers as you need them while your there. The diagrams you have or likey the same i have gotten. I am including a link, you can purchase the factory service manual there. Audi isn't one give out free info not saying you can't find it but the best idea is drop the coin for the book you know it's right no questions asked.
I really hope my thoughts for you help and make senses. I have gotten alright done and done right by haven friend in the shops i have told you about. Again I'm sorry I don't have more for you.
Best of luck and if there is anything else i might be able to help you with please feel to contact me

I am not sure but most turbos are mounted directly to the exhaust manifold. I imagine that all you would want is a turbo manifold and it should be a go from there

1994 Buick LeSabre does not want to take gas and exhaust manifold gets red hot

If you've checked your coolant and the gas is good it is likely the timing is off drastically and it needs fixed. I don't remember if that car has a chain or belt. I know most manufacturers change intervals on timing belts run from 60-90 thousand miles.Good luck those are nice cars when they are running well.

Removing turbo from audi tt 225 quattrro

Yep, it is possible to get turbo off without pulling engine. I had a TB break at 85000 miles and did the repair at home (2 bent exhaust valves, 1 intake valve). Getting the turbo disconnected from the exhaust manifold was the single toughest part of this repair. It is attached with 3 reduced head socket bolts (appear to made from stainless steel). Eventually had to drive out one of the bolts...

you have a worn turbo bearing.I would get a replacment turbo before you do any damage. When you start the engine the bearings in the turbo are dry of oil.Has you start the engine the oil will reach the bearings and the noise will apear to go away.

you might have a clogged oil line(s) to the turbo not allowing sufficient oil flow to the turbo remove the lines clean with carb cleaner clean the inside of the turbo be sure to scrape off burnt oil....change your oil and see if that works
