Question about Lexus Cars & Trucks
Hi Deanna, have someone look for rusting or other contamination on the brake pistons of the calipers. If all is good there try replacing the brake discs. (I believe that in the States they are called rotors) Ask for the tightness and fitting of the calipers to be inspected and checked and that the self adjusting mechanism is free and sliding correctly. Regards John

Your dealer will use their scan tool to interface with your vehicle; that will disable the speed link. I provide this service at no charge.

SOURCE: parking brake won't release
Try pushing down on the parking brake while pulling on the release handle.Downward pressure may make the release handle easier to pull.Good luck,

sounds like it might be a blend door motor, It is located on the drivers side up under the dash on the side of the heater box, try looking at it while turning the knobs on the dash and see if it is changing positions, if not than the blend door motor might be the problem

Your vehicle is equipped with a timing chain. There is no periodic maintenance schedule fr the timing chain.
If your spark plugs have never been changed, now might be a perfect opportunity to change them. Ensure that you properly gap the plugs before installation. You will find gap specs on the engine information tag/sticker under the hood.

most likely your key battery needs to be replaced. due to the involvment of the key, it uses alot more battery power then older cars and the battery should be replaced every year. hope that helps.
