How to reset injector pump timing for a Nissan Navara QD 3.2

if it is a common rail diesel, the timing is set by the ECMas the pump just supplies pressure to the injectors which are operated by timing from the crank sensor through the ECM
talk with a specialist diesel shop as the pump pressure may be too low ( should be in the vicinity of 25,000 PSI)
run the fault codes
if it is not common rail then it could be more of an accelerator setting ( not getting full throttle ) or a governor problem
in any case it will require a special tool to set the timing so again talk with a specialist diesel shop

What's your question?nissan caravan zd30 tdd diesel hardstating when cold change prima and heater plugs .what could the problem

cranking speed to slow--cannot generate enough compression heat to ignite fuel
faulty injector tips ---squirting and not atomizing--have an accredited diesel specialist shop recon the injectors
worn engine---compression pressure too low -- have a compression test done
if common rail diesel ---fuel pressure too low to work the injectors properly-- have an accredited diesel special shop test the pump pressure -- should be around 22.000 to 25.000 psi

Hello, i have fitted an 05 2.2 x trail with an 06 fuel pump and 05 injectors, 05 are 4 pin, 06 are 2 pin, we have 500 bar of pressure at common rail (with suction valve disconnected)but no power, the

Sorry i assume this is a diesel but its all electronic now and way above my head ,now in the good old days of a bosch or lucas injector inline fuel pump i could do anything from re-setting the injectors with a big bowl with a pump to re-calibrating the injector pump on the engine with it running but this is beyond me ,but on reading the question again then thinking ,yes i know iam old and it hurts to think but the wires to the injectors is the clue i think ,4 wires which could be running a feed information back to the computer which its not recieving ,the newer vehicle having a different software programme so you may need to change the computer for the later model then look at the pin layout of the later computer and work out what you need to leave disconnected other than this use all the original parts for this year and build vehicle .

Nissan Problems I am looking at purchasing a Nissan Tiida, 2004, 50,000KM imported from Japan into New Zealand. I have had an independent mechanical check done and it has come back with 2...

Well these are common problems with ALL vehicles at some point... but a 2004 model with only 50000 on the clock sounds like a good buy for the right price!! Probably cost about $1000-1500(and maybe not even that much) so maybe heckle the price down about say $2000 and work from there!!
