Cooling system radiator drain plug

Even if it had one I would not recommend pulling it. It is very common for them jot to seal back up leaving you in a worse predicament than before you started. Instead remove the lower radiator hose. You'll get the same result.

Where is transmission filter located in 2001 mitsubishi diamante located and how do i change it?

transmission filter in the bottom of transmission bolted to valve need a large drain drain plug under transmission oil pan.remove transmission oil pan drain plug.let all transmission fluid drain out then screw back drain plug in oil pan.then you need to remove transmission oil pan then remove filter and replace pan gasket also.make sure you have right amount transmission fluid on extra because if you short of fluid you cant drive car if fluid level too low.make sure you get the right amount fluid.torque pan bolts to 96 inch pounds.

Cant find radiator drain plug

  1. Open the hood.
  2. Look for the fill spout.
  3. From the fill spout go strait down the back of the radiator.
  4. The drain spout is right there on the backside of the radiator towards the bottom (see pic).
  5. Turn with a pair of Vice Grips or stick a little screwdriver in the hole in the center of drain tab.

Hi billd1304, there is no trick to this other than being square with the threads on the rad. One question is it a steel pet-**** type or a plastic plug? both will be right hand thread hope this helps, good luck
