1994 toyota camry combination switch replacement

I have a 1994 Toyota Camry with a bad combination switch. This is the switch on the left of the steering wheel, which controls the headlights and blinkers. I have a replacement. I've read some very vague instructions of how to remove and replace this, and it is said to be very easy, however, I cannot see this being replaced without me having to remove the steering wheel. I have a shop manual, and it also has vague instructions, but it does not say weather or not I have to remove the steering wheel. Has anyone replaced a combination switch on a camry? Also, do I need a wheel puller to remove a steering wheel? Thanks!!

SOURCE: REMOVING STARTER ON 1994 TOYOTA CAMRY LE

The starter is found under front end.. Near where the moter meets the trani - you will see the flywheel (a big round gear) the starter connects to the flywheel to turn the motor..

Disconnect the battery..
Disconnect wires from starter..
Should be 2 bolts that hold the starter in - remove them..

The starter goes in only one way so you cant mess it up..

Rate well ;o)

1994 Toyota Camry isn't getting fuel

There is no inertia switch. The ECU (Engine control module) activates the fuel pump. See attached from service manual.

My 1994 toyota camry lex left axel cv bost is repture, my mechanic suggesting me to replace the left axel instead just do the cv bost. Any suggestion?

if the cv joint boot cover is bad then you might have got dirt or road dust in there.
I would replace the half shaft or left axle would only cost a little more for new axle.
and be safer.
also check the right side it might be do also.
can do one at a time because of money.

I am having a problem with my toyota camry 1994 model automatic car the head lights and the running lights do not come on tried checking it found no power coming in to the fuse what should i do.

the switch for the headlights is bad. if the multiswitch is on the steering column, you need to take the cowling off of the column to replace the entire switch and arm assembly. if it's the switch on the dash, then just the switch.
