SOURCE: No Hi Beam on 93 Camry

The headlamp circuit is rather simple. From the 15 amp RH headlamp fuse, there is a red w/yellow trace that goes to the RH high beam. Out of the 15 amp LH headlamp fuse, the wire going to the LH Hi beam is solid red. Both of these wires should have power when the headlamp relay is energized. The wires from the Hi Beam bulbs going back to the switch should both be red w/black trace. The wire going from the headlamp relay to power the 2 15 amp fuses is white. The headlamp switch applies a ground to illuminate either the Lo Beams or the Hi Beams.

2005 Mercedes Benz C240 left low beam headlight won't work and bulb is good. Help?

In the diagram, the top wire color, yellow/black, is voltage, low beam. If the hi beam works, the ground should be ok. this is w/o xeon.
if you have good voltage and ground, the problem has to be in headlamp assembly. The voltage comes from sam control module. I can't troubleshoot that module, my info isn't good enough. Any applicable trouble codes?

Did you check the bulbs them self? most of the times the bulb high current filament is burnt out and need replacement. If everything is fine check the wiring, there must be an interruptions in the wires leading to the high lights.

My wifes 92 883 keeps blowing headlights. First the low beam then the hi-beam. Is it the headlight relay shooting too many amps to the light?

Check the headlight lens for moisture in them, that blows bulbs. Do you touch the bulbs with your fingers when installing them? Don't do that, that blows bulbs. And no to many amps is not possible, but to many volts,is poss, have the charging system tested by a local Autozone or O'reilly auto parts, its is free, it could be to much voltage due to a alternator issue or wiring problems. Please rate my help for fixya..

Driver's low beam headlight blows the fuse

try another fuse. check that all bulbs work. If fuse blows again in a short time, you have a short in that circuit- a broken wire or wire that lost insulation and is contacting metal. It may or may not be near the bulb you replaced.

I have a 2005 chev impala can i replace my high beams headlights with just low beam lights

NO YOU HAVE TO REPLACE HIGH BEAM LIGHT BULBS WITH HIGH BEAM LIGHT BULBS BECAUSE HIGH BEAM LIGHT BULBS AND LOW BEAM LIGHT BULBS TWO DIFFERENT TYPES OF BULBS.WEAR CLEAN LATEX GLOVES HANDLING THE HEADLIGHT BULBS WHICH IS HALOGEN LIGHT BULBS, OIL FROM FINGERS OR HAND WILL CAUSE HALOGEN BULBS TO OVER HEAT BLOW OUT.

How to change my headlights on Honda 2005 CRV

easy cheesy! Ive changed mine twice. The headlights are small bulbs. Make sure you get the right one (hi-beam vs low-beam). Unplug connector at back of bulb / headlamp unit, remove rubber weather seal (pops right ot). The bulb is held in with a small wire clip that is hard to get back on but can be done. Its spring loaded. Drop wire clip, turn bulb assya 1/4 turn, and it comes right out. Remove bulb from holder and replace. Reverse steps and VOILA!
