Question about 1996 Suzuki Esteem
you should bleed the brake lines you probably got air in them or have the breaks preasure tested to see if theres fault in lines or hardware

yes thats easy ,just remove the rear brake drums ,clean the lip out from where the drums have worn and then adjust the automatic adjusters with a thin screwdriver till the drums just about turn and a slight scuffing sound can be heard as drum is turned ,tap drum with a small hammer to centralise the shoes and if need be repeat the adjustment procedure.Do not adjust the cables as they dont stretch .Make sure that when you take the drums off, the handbrake levers on the shoes are right back against the shoe because a lot of cowboys just tighten the cables and call it adjusted when in actual fact you have lost a lot of leverage and you need the force times distance rule to make the handbrake work properly.quick test when its all done is three clicks on handbrake lever in cab and rear brakes should lock up at 30mph when handbrake is pulled up (jerked) good job iam not a solicitor or i would want a couple of Gs for information and evan then they never give a direct answer.

The idle speed is controlled by the E.C.M.
It is not adjustable. Attempting to do so will void your warranty. Take your vehicle to the nearest Suzuki dealership to have your concern properly diagnosed. Suzuki does not share certain technologies such as E.C.M. reprogramming and T.C.M. reprogramming with aftermarket repair shops.
