Pop the fuse panel cover off the driver side fuse box, you have to open the door to get to it. With the key in the ignition and in the "ON" position, hold down the button in the fuse box that says "reset". The Tire Pressure or Oil Change light will start to blink, let go and push it one more time and the light will go off.

Do you have four tires the same make, size and diameter?
Is your ABS system in good shape?
If one tire is rotating slower or faster than others...the light will come on the abs reads tire rotation.......faster rotation...(low tire)
Other cure is disconnect the battery for 10 min...reattach and try.

How do i reset a check tire press light. just had tires replaced and about 5 miles from the store the light came on. bought the car used and don't have a manual.

in a lot of cases the tire companies do not know that the rims have to stay in the same position on the car each pressure sensor is coded to a corner on the car so if for example the left and right front rims have been swaped around the warning will display. the system is designed to reset when the pressures are corrected, the tyre company may have damaged a sensor while changing the tyre this is a common mistake as the sensors are quite bulky and get bumped with the tire irons.

turn the key to "on" and open the fuse panel to the left of the steering wheel when drivers door is open, hold the "reset" button until the oil light on the dash starts to blink and then push it again, you should hear the chimes and then the light will go off. :-)
