You can get high-flow CATs. I would also redo the entire exhaust system at that point too (remove resonator, add a performance muffler).

You can also "chip" you car, add a intake, or go all out & turbo. Although with a stock motor, I would not recommend a turbo.

Have 3.3 keeps burning up catalic convertors

if your fuel mixture is too rich, your catalytic convertor can overheat and even start to melt. If your fuel becomes contaminated or your exhaust system fails to perform correctly, you may also see symptoms indicating that your catalytic converter is clogged.A bad oxygen sensor, dirty mass air flow sensor or an engine misfire will also cause this. God-Bless!

Jeep wont start or turn over disconnect the battery then reconnect and it starts but only once

I had a similar problem that could only be sorted by pulling out oem fuse number 32 i think The bottom of the 2 plastic fuse holders. Pull it from fuse slot but not all the way out give it a few seconds then press back in mine would run ok then. I think it reset the BCM which was playing havoc with the start management module.

We have a 1993 E150 with a 4.9 6 cyl eng, it is the only thing we have to haul my disabled son around in his wheelchair because it has a ramp in it. We had bought it in 2002 from a ford dealer in NJ, it...

one thing with fords, the catalic convertor plugs up and it over heats the motor and runs very poor and burns more fuel than the fuel station it self. you get a check engine at all?? or loss of power? burns alot of fuel? check your fan clutch/motor too
let me tell you what over heats an engine.
1 bad radiator
2 bad water pump
3 seized termostat
4 bad heads
5 plugges catalic convertor
6 engine fan not kicking in on time or at all.
