Question about 2004 Saab 9-3
THE VEHICLE IS A SAAB 93 CONVERTIBLE
Automatic climate control module has gone bad. Pull your fuse to turn off. be careful, it may get hot and melt in a couple of different areas due to the faulty module not regulating draw. Take off the left kick plate in the front passenger compartment and replace the module. go on line, you can find one fairly cheap. hope this helps.

As a temporary fix, find the fuse/relay for the blower and remove it.
This sounds like a problem with the control unit on the dashboard (the unit is fairl easily removable). Replacements are not too expensive but it would be worth getting a diagnostic check by a reliable SAAB agent first before you spend any money or blow yourself up.
