2001 PT Cruiser does not overheat, intermittent gurgling sound when I turn the engine off

After warming up, the temp gauge holds steady midway, no visible antifreeze leaks, intermittent gurggling sound when the engine is shutoff. Some times after shutdown, there is a slow bubbling sound, other times it sounds like it guggles for a minute or so, and other times, it doesn't bubble or gurggle at all.

Ensure coolant system has been properly filled.
Carry out all air bleed operations as specified by the manufacturer- (don't forget to open the heater core supply valve).

SOURCE: 2001 pt cruiser running hot after changing

I have a 2001 PT and it overheats the rad fan will not turn on. I took it to auto zone to hook it up to the code reader and it said that BBECM has detected an open or shorted condition in the radiator fan relay circuit Probable cause open or shorted high speed radiator fan relay.
What dose this mean is it a relay or the computer. I have read alot about the pcm needing re-programed is this something the Chrysler deal should take care of it seem to be happening to alot of people.

My 2001 pt cruiser will stop running and then a litle while loner it will start and go again but not for to long. Changed the serptine belt and that didnt help

A problem like that sounds like the ignition coil overheats/quits after time. So after it dies, check for spark on the plug wires as someone is cranking the engine. (pull wire off and hold end next to ground and see and hear a spark)

I have a 2001 PT Curiser and the fuel gauge moves to full to empty in a matter of seconds. It happens intermittent. in addition the ingination starts when the key turns then sometimes it needs turned...

This sounds like you have a ground problem with the fuel pump and sensor. This would
explain pretty much everything you are describing. Best to have a shop check it out
before you wind up stranded.

Check engine light goes on for a few days and then resets itself

Sounds like a re-occuring temporary code....take it back to the dealer or Auto Zone and have the code scanned within your 6 start reset limit

2001 pt cruiser no heat

did you check the fluid level by removing the rad. cap? Radiator should be full to top. If Chryslers are low on coolant, the heater will not blow warm air.
