We had to recharge the battery (door was left ajar) two nights ago, battery was dead yesterday morning, so we charged it for 10 minutes, went to breakfast (in the car), came home, didn't go out again. This am we had to recharge again, but the Radio Power on button when pushed displays CODE, no matter what buttons we push, we get CODE or ERR1/ERR2/ERR3 etc if we push the disc buttons at the bottom. We checked the Radio fuse, tested it and it is fine.
In the owners manual booklet there should be a radio code that you have to punch in in order for the radio to work. This is in case your radio gets stolen no one else can use it. When you change the battery or the battery goes dead you have to put this code in for the radio to work again. The radio code may be on a card inside the leather case the owners manual comes in.. This is where mine was.

The battery won't keep a charge or it won't when it is in the truck? Will the battery keep a charge if you put it on the charger and then unplug it overnight, all of this out of the truck. Then in the morning will it start the truck. If not your battery is bad. If it keeps a charge and will start the truck and then it goes dead after several hours, your truck is drawing a load on the battery. You will have to find what has been left on or shorted out.
The indication for your symptom is a dead battery, loose battery cable of a faulty ground wire. n If the battery is dead it could be an indication of a charging issue or there is some parasitic load or light that was left on
If you don't have any electric functions working I would have to say that the battery is dead. Where the lights left on last night or a door open? You can take the battery out and take it to your local auto parts store and they can test it for you to make sure it's not dead and if it's not, then you can have them charge it for you. Let me know if you need anything else.
