Assuming its a smallblock and they have not changed values, for just about forever they have been 65. I'd check a manual or even a dealer... even though they don't give out much info, they will likely tell you that even on phone!

Don't have those specs handy. If aluminium heads, sequence & values are likely different than what I said... Sorry, but As I mentioned, a simple call to a dealer will likely get you that info.
    good luck

Cylinder head torque settings

Thread Head bolt torque and sequence
Read the threads, but it states:
According to my manual the removal and the replacement sequence are different. Removal (looking from the cam sprockets )
headbolt 1-3-9-5-7 are on the left and 2-4-10-9-8 are on the right. Remove in that progression.
Instillation 9-5-1-3-7 are on the left and 10-6-2-4-8 are on the right tighten in that order.
Tighten to 25Nm or 18 ft/lb. and retighten the cyl hd blt 70 deg plus 70 deg plus 50 deg using the angular torque guage KM-470-B.
Hope this helps. Might help to make a sketch and label the 5 headbolts on each side.

I need torque settings for Chev. 4.3 6 cyl for Rods, Mains, Headbolts, Cylinder Head, and Cam shaft timeing

http://www.torkspec.com/torkspecme.aspx?KI=12-4.3L-262ci-V6 Try this link out. It has various torque specs listed for the 4.3. Be sure to check the years to ensure it is the proper torque spec for your vehicle. Also this may not have all the torque specs you asked for, but I believe it has most of them.

Hi im a mechanic... I have a 2000 Deville with a northstar. Radiator, waterpump, thermostat, are all changed and good. There are no external leaks. I heard the Northstar motors have problems with there...

What happens is the head gaskets shrink causing the headbolts to loose torgue, and the headbolts are of one time use, whenever you do a headgasket job you will need to replace all the headbolts with new ones. and when ever you remove a cylinder head on any engine you should always chase the bolt holes with the proper tap, then blow out the holes with compressed air, this will help to insure a more accurate torque setting on the new headbolts...

Replacing head

There should be 10 headbolts. This vehicle uses torque to yield headbolts and should be replaced with the new gasket. Bolts 1-8 get torqued to 40 ft lbs initially, bolts 9 and 10 get torqued to 30 ft lbs initially, Then all bolts get turned an additional 90 degrees. I would strongly suggest borrowing a torque angle gauge for doing this or you might be doing the same repair next week.

Tightening head

New Headbolts are recommended

Long bolts are torqued to 46'lbs + 90 degrees.

Short bolts are torqued 43'lbs + 90 degrees.

Start in the center, and work to the edges, torquing the bolts in two stages.

Rockers are torqued to 22'lbs.
