Temp was 60 degrees. Evaced system for 30 mins. R134a freon. Temp may be too low to get system to cycle correctly, but I wanted to make sure of what I was doing.

What is the ambient temp at your location? Did you evacuate the system for 30mins before adding freon? What kind freon did you use?

It sounds like you've done just about everything except to check if there is a bad or intermittent wire causing this or perhaps your low-pressure safety cutout switch is possible going bad causing the compressor to kick on and off?

1994 gmc sierra ac compressor clutch

refrigerant added is by allowing the compressor to suck it in (low pressure side or suction side )until the system pressures are right
What you describe is liquid getting into the compressor causing the high pressure switch to shut it down until the liquid boils off

My Chrysler 1994 ac compresspor engages then dissengages. stays on for about 5 seconds it just was replaced 2010. and it sat for a year maby low freon how do i tell.

it actually may be low on freon, your best bet is to do a evac and refill with dye and sealer so you get all moisture out of your system.
good luck

I put a can of 134a it seemed to help but still blew hot air sometimes while putting in a second can I noticed the cluch on the compressor engaging and dissenguaging quickley. Is the compressor bad?

1) get a gauge to check on the low side pressure when adding refrigerant to see if it's too low or too high.
2) if in the proper range check again in a few days to see if the pressure is holding and you don't have a leak that requires a teardown & repair.
3) the fact that the compressor (clutch) IS engaging and disengaging suggests that that part of your system is working ok. IF you can get normal refrigerant levels then you can start troubleshooting the fast cycling.
4) and online manual here:

95 Camaro Z-28 starts hard

Need to verify fuel pressure at the injector rail with the engine cranking and with the key on and engine off. Specification is 55 - 61psi. The pressure should build with one cycle of the key. If the pressure is slow to build up there may be a restriction in the system between the pump and fuel rail .
The system should hold pressure without leaking down. If it leaks down there is a problem. If all is good there Checking for a good blue spark at several plugs to verify the ignition system is working ok. A vacuum leak could also cause a hard start issue.
A bad pick up coil or weak crank sensor can cause hard start issues also.

Adding freon to the auto air conditioner, the

On that model,it will cycle on and off while you add freon. If it does not ,then the ac system might have a problem. The low side pressure switch is located on,or near the accumulator .Unplug the switch and take the wire end plug and connect the two plug in`s together(cross it out on the wire). This will make the ac compressor engage and you can charge the system,do not leave the wire connected, plug it back up to switch. If the ac compressor does not come on ,then have the system checked out.

Try the "h" valve or expansion valve. It's known to stick.. Write back if you have more.

A/C was working, now compressor runs, but no cold air. When compressor starts and stops, pressure does not change on low side. Is there a filter that could be plugged?

No inline filter, you may need to recharge this system if the compressor is cycling on and off with no cold air. check the lines for leaks. check the clutch on the compressor as well for its operational value. it should engage with a click during the cycle.

The cooling system could have air in it and need bleeding.I would suggest a pressure test on the system. If you are sure that it has to much pressure.I would suggest a compression test to eliminate blown head gaskets or cracked or warped heads. Also check you intake gaskets.Good Luck!!!!!
