Question about 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee

1 Answer

Regular Time, Military Time

Display in my console has 2 options, standard time & military time. I have set this to standard time repeatedly and it keeps reverting to military time. Is this a problem of the 'brain' (computer) or is this a issue that a DIY can fix?

I believe it's a DIY. Find the owners manuel. You probably have to save it in standard time.

Is it possible to join another branch of the military after you receive a general under honorable discharge for alcohol?

this will depend on the branch that you are applying to
however unless you have made a very serious attempt to address you alcohol problem and can show proof of the treatment process it would be unlikely that they would consider you as good military material
IT will not hurt to ask and discuss your options with them

Change 24 hour clock non military time

You could select the 12 Hour clock mode instead of 24 hour as it may be set at now.

Also it needs to be confirmed if the audio system fitted to your vehicle supports 12 hour clock. Please check the two documents below after turning to the section on Clock setting. The menus to set this could vary depending on which audio system you have.

Can I change the clock in my 99 Beetle to standard time and not military time?

Yes. I believe you have to have the engine shut off. but with the power on hold the hour button until the time changes. you can change the temperature the same way but with the car running. in standard time 0 o- clock means midnight.
