Shaking Car My car shakes no matter what speed. This is after I hit a pothole.

    the car starts shakeing real bad between 55 to 65 it shakes hit 70 and it smooths out but down shift it starts shakeing real bad

Front end alignment. Worn and loose wheel,idler arm, tie rod ends , ball joints and or pitman arm. Have front end alignment and parts tested or get under unit and start moving the parts and see what is loose then replace it/them. Most likely is the idler arm.You will still have to have the front end realigned after relacing worn, loose, parts.

There are two types of car shake

Try getting your tires balanced. If that does not work try an alignment and get the front suspension checked out. Could possibly be dented rims too if you hit a pothole but that's less likely.

Car shaking while driving


Depends on how the shaking is for the car, it could be a few things. If it sounds like it is running terrible and shaking, the chance is that it is the MAF (Mass Air Flow Sensor) which is located along the air intake pathway for the motor's air intake. If the sensor is faulty, then the car can vibrate but also blatantly sound like it is running rough.

If it is your steering wheel shaking while braking and not the car, then your brake rotors are warped from wear due to braking habits with dragging the brakes or a lot of heavy braking - created a high heat situation with the rotors to warp the metal.

If you recently had your tires changed, it could mean an unbalanced tire. Also check to see if your tires has any bulging from possibly hitting any curbs or potholes recently.

Computer testing is not going to find most mechanical failures. The computer systems in your vehicle controll electrical circuits.
It sounds to me like you may have some suspension bushings that are worn out. If it feels like the front (i.e. the sterring wheel is shaking, then check all the front suspension parts for looseness and wear. If it feels like the rear, make sure that the strut arms for the rear suspension do not have worn out bushings. Check all of the struts and/or shocks.
I had one of these one time that would be cruising down the highway with no problems, then you hit a rough spot in the pavement or a small pothole and the thing would start shaking so violently that it was threatening to go off the road. It turned out to be worn out bushings in the rear suspension.

I have a 1992 Camry V6. When I start up the car, it's fine. About 5 minutes into the drive, the car starts to shake when it's stopped. When I'm on the HWY, the car shakes when I hit 55-62mph. To stop...


The problem is in the transmission Overdrive gears. You need to have the transmission checked and probably serviced. It may be a simple adjustment or Fluid and Filter change. I do not recommend you all them to use a synthetic replacement however as most of the time I have seen this done the transmission burns within about 6 months.

Shaking


Sounds very much like a broken coil spring. On such a new vehicle that seems unlikely but it is possible. Another possibility is a blown seal in one strut. Again, not likely but possible. If you do a lot of off roading or possibly may have hit a curb or pothole hard enough it could have broken an already defective spring or blown a seal in a strut, causing this issue.
