I need the torque settings for a Ford fiesta 1.4 2010 for the main bearings the head bolts and big ends

Here are the torque settings for a Ford Fiesta 1.4 2010 for the main bearings, head bolts, and big ends:
Main bearings
  • Main bearing caps: 1st stage - 7 Nm, 2nd stage - 16 Nm
  • Main bearing bolts: 45 Nm + 90°
Head bolts
  • Cylinders 1-3: 2nd stage - 30 Nm + 90°, 3rd stage - 80 Nm + 180°
  • Cylinder 4: 2nd stage - 25 Nm + 90°, 3rd stage - 60 Nm + 180°
Big ends
  • Connecting rod cap nuts: 1st stage - 22 Nm, 2nd stage - 40 Nm + 90°
Please note that these are just the general torque settings. The exact torque settings may vary depending on the specific engine and vehicle. It is always best to consult your vehicle's service manual for the correct torque settings.
Here are some additional tips for tightening the torque settings:
  • Use a torque wrench to ensure that the bolts are tightened to the correct torque.
  • Tighten the bolts in a star pattern, working your way from the center out.
  • Do not overtighten the bolts, as this can damage the engine.

Is it easy to change head gaskit on a mk6 rs2000 and do u need any special tools to do this

On the scale of engine repairs - changing a head gasket is a precise job.

A torque wrench is required to put the right amount of tension to the bolts when refitting the head. Sometimes the cylinder head won't come of that easily - an engine hoist is a big help to get the head of evenly at every side.

Then removing the old gasket can take sometime since it can't be scraped of by force. When rebolting the head - the order in which bolts are fixed is very important - you need the bolt pattern from a service manual.

The rest of the job is rather straight forward - best to do inside.
