2001 Chevy blazer came out one day and it was dinging as if my key was in it got it to start with a jump shut it off took battery out and charged it put it back in when I turn the key I get NOTHING!

Check power an grounds for ignition switch , voltage drop test the starter circuit . Go to youtube an check out videos on basic electrical trouble shooting , voltage drop testing ,how to read a wiring diagram .Then go here http://www.bbbind.com/free_tsb.html free wiring diagram ! Look at power distribution under electrical distribution . Check main fuse's Maxi fuse's that power the ignition switch ,IGN.C fuse 20amp in underhood fuse box ,then check crank fuse 10amp in same fuse box .Check the starter relay in the under hood fuse box . Check the circuit form ignition switch to the starter relay , pull the relay out an look on the bottom you should see 4 set's of numbers 30 - 87 - 85 - 86 . Pin 30 or 87 should have battery voltage ,one or the other ,not both . if you jump those two at the base (where it plugs in ) not the relay pins . It should crank the engine ( if starter is good an there are no opens in the circuit ) Pin's 85 an 86 are the control side of the relay ! You may want to check out videos on how a relay works also > Good luck hope this helps

Most newer vehicles the ignition switch is an input to a module an the module BCM -body control module energizes relays that power up the vehicle systems . .You can go to www.bbbind.com for free wiring diagrams an power distribution diagrams an see what these systems have in common , it could also be a ground side problem . On the home page at bbbind click on technical information , five box will pop up . click on tsb's an free wiring diagrams. Next page go to the bottom an click I agree . On the next page click wiring diagrams an then enter your vehicle info. Under system click on electric distribution ,subsystem click power distribution first ,then go back an check ground distribution

My ford escape wont start no bells no whistles but battery is strong only the air bvag light on the dash comes on

Turning the key to on, no warning lights or dash gauges come on? That sounds like the ignition switch is not working, or power is not getting to the switch. Power for the switch would likely come from a maxi fuse under the hood. So check all your fuses as a start. If fuses are good, one will have to check the ignition switch for power in and power out, when key is turned to on. Use a test light, pull the ignition switch electrical connector apart. On the harness side of the connector, probe all the terminals in the connector. One wire should be the hot wire to the switch-hot at all times-just waiting for the switch to send power out to make things work. If you have a hot wire there, plug connector together, turn key to on, and backprobe the electrical connector, looking for power out on the run wire. The start wire (going to the starter solenoid) will have power when key is held in start. Too many wires? Confused? Keep probing-all you looking for is power in on one wire, and power out on one or maybe two wires with key on. If no power out, the switch must be bad. If no power in, the electrical distribution system will have to be checked-back to the power distribution center under the hood where the maxi fuses are.
Post back if not clear, or if you need more help. Always appreciate a reply. Good luck.

No start or no electrical power inside or outside of the vehicle

No headlights, horn, or brake lights? I would expect nothing at the ignition switch, either, then? No warning lights or gauges with key on?

Any chance the battery is discharged? It would have to be very low or dead if connections are clean and tight. Inspect the cables, take them off and clean the terminals of corrosion, tighten them down good. Check the ground where it bolts to metal-if not a good ground, power will not flow. From the battery, power is sent through fuse links and maxi fuses in the power distribution box, to distribute power through all the car's circuits. Either a fuse link or a maxi fuse will send power to the ignition switch. Another will send power to the headlight switch, and another will send power to the fuse panel under the dash, powering those fuses that are hot at all times (like the brake lights and horn).
It sounds like your power is not getting from the battery to the power distribution box, if just nothing works. Bad battery or bad connection, possibly.
