Ok it sounds like you may damaged the cars computer you may want to take it to a auto elec for testing

you can try and disconect the battery but it may work but the chances are it wont, as for other fuses check under the hood there should be a main engine fuse box with big maxi fuses in it 60,80,100amp sort of fuses check all of these before going to the auto elec you may have blown one of these

I forgot to unhook the battery and relay wheni put a new fuel pump in my 2007 trailblazer now it wont crank or make any sounds just signals come on the dash

As long as the key was off and fuel pump relay not energized, you should have had no problem.
Check the pcm B fuse in diagram.

Jeep was running fine , everything perfect, just had a oil pressure sending unit go bad, so bought one at autozone and put new one in.. While doing this took off harness grounds, now jeep won't start??

well step one was, what
remove battery neg lug,
did you, if not you blew some fuses.

wont crank , or cranks and not start.
no the PCM is not fried. Id, bet. long as you didnt hot wire things.
check your work, put it all back as you found it.
then check fuses
then scan it. key on see if it will scan,.
then key on see if dash glow, all those warning lamps (self test) come on now. then make sure CEL lamp glows, it must
or the PCM is of OFFLINE< no power, no ground or fuel blown to it.

those are the first steps to take.

Put a new coil pack on crancked it over wouldnt start now it wont crank at all batt. is good and so is starter and fuses

Do you have a flashing red light in the center of the top of the dash when trying to crank it ? Check starter relay in the in under hood fuse / relay box ! The PCM - powertrain control module controls it by supplying a ground to the control side ! Where the relay plugs into the fuse box are four sockets , two should have battery voltage , one should show continuity with ohm meter an one should show open or OL on ohm meter this is from the PCM . when you crank the vehicle over, if no problems with anti-theft system the PCM supply's a ground an the engine cranks over !

2005 GMC Yukon XL will not start. Took starter off and had it tested. The starter is good. However, the PCM fuse is blowing when attempting to start truck or turning turning the switch to start the tr

There is a dead short to ground on that circuit . There are videos on youtube showing how to find an fix a short . Do you know how to do automotive electrical testing ? How to find automotive electrical shorts Look at the wiring harness under the hood for rubbed through wire's , harness going to the PCM , also find out what if any thing else is powered by that fuse . Which PCM fuse ? There are a few PCM 1 , PCM B , etc...

PCM 1 Fuse
Powertrain Control Module (PCM), Mass Air Flow (MAF) Sensor, Evaporative Emission (EVAP) Canister Purge Solenoid, Fuel Composition Sensor, Secondary Fuel Pump Relay

PCM B Fuse
Powertrain Control Module (PCM)

Any one of these fuse will cause the engine not to crank . The PCM energizes the starter relay which supply's power to the starter .

Took our 2001 Caravan SE to local mechanic because rear wiper quit working. They diagosed proble as faulty PCM. Thought they were doing us a favour by putting in a used one from a 2002 that they thought...

i dont see why they would diag the pcm for the rear wiper, power from fuse to switch to wiper!! no pcm in between this operation. I would have had this fixed in a hour. Have mechanic pay for the bill to get it running. It was running fine when you took it there and only the rear wiper didnt work and now you are out of a vehicle and a tow bill at a hourly dealer cost. Best of luck to you 300.00 later.

Installing Dash light bulbs in a 1993 S-10 Blazer

To replace the blubs you have to take out the insterment cluster. This is done by romoving the light switch trim plate and disconnect the wirering harness. The remove the A/C heater control panel. Remove the plastic trim from around the insterment cluster. The unbolt and remove the insterment cluster and uplug the wires and the speedometer cable. This speedometer cables can be a pain in the **** but depress the spring clip and pull. The bulbs are accessed from the back of the cluster.
Bulbs in this cluster don't burn out very often and if none of the bulbs don't work it probley isn't the bulbs. In this cause make sure the dimmer switch is turned up if it is play with the switch see if the dash light flicker.
Oh also in the mauals they always tell you to disconnect battery when pulling electrial apart.

The insterment lights don't work

I know this might sound strange to you, but check the TAILIGHT fuse. Some GM cars suffer similar symptoms. Tailight fuse blows ( tailights inop and unknown to the driver ), and sort of like a warning of something wrong, NO DASH LIGHTS. Check this first. You still might have other probs
