My 1989 Honda Accord LXI turn signals and hazards wont work everything else does

The turn signals and flasher don't work. the turn signal switch is one unit with the head lights wind shield wipers and rear wiper. Everything but the turn signals and flashers work fine.

It could be either a blown fuse (check your fuse box) or a failed flasher relay which is often mounted inside and under the dash board on the driver's side; it's a cylindrical aluminum can about 2" high and ~ 1 1/2" diameter.

03 Honda Accord v6 left turn signals not working. So I try another flasher relay. Now no turn signals, hazards, or radio/ac lights. ???

It probably blew a fuse.

Flasher unit would not cause one side only to stop working but instead check the switch, wiring, connections and both bulbs.

A little used hazard warning switch is often the cause of strange or unusual flasher behaviour. A couple of minutes of rapid operation often works.

No turn signals they come on but don't flash

It's probably the turn signal flasher. It is usually located under the dash along with the hazard light flasher. If you don't know what it looks like, then go to a parts store and look at a new one. Once you have located one, then remove it. Try the hazard flashers. If they work, then replace that flasher with a new one. If they don't, then reinstall that flasher and look for another one like it. When you find one, replace it with the new flasher and try the turn signals. (remember : the key must be on for the turn signals to operate). I hope this information helps you and thank you for using Fixya.com.

Flashers work but turn signals will not 1989 bonneville

There are usually two flashers that are used on most cars. One for the turn signals and one for the hazard lights. They are usually located under the dash. If you don't know what they look like, then go to the parts store and ask to see a new one. Once you locate both of them, see if they have the same part number stamped on them. If they do, then switch them and see if the signals work.
REMEMBER : The key must be turned on for the turn signals to work in most cases. The hazard flashers will work with the key off.
If the signals work, then replace the turn signal flasher. I hope this information is helpful and thank you for using Fixya.com.

The blinkers on my 97 honda accord wont work but the hazard lights do

The turn signal flasher is separate from the hazard flasher and that is the problem that you need to look at.I can''t tell you where the flasher is but i am 95% sure that a new flasher will fix your problem, otherwise that hazards would not work either. It still could be the turn signal switch but that is a rarity.
