Question about 2001 Ford Expedition
They do not function at all. no turn indicator lights at all. no hazard lights at all.
I have the same issue. There appears to be a bad harness connection, short term fix is to adjust the wheel up rather than down and see if that helps. You can take apart the steering assembly and see when the tension of moving the steering wheel down causes the connection to fail.

Ck the multifunction switch at steering column.[lft hand stock] remove cover to column and remove switch may be burnt at conn on back side
