Also check crank case oil.look at the oil dip stick see if you see like white milkly looking.could have slight intake gasket leaking engine burning coolant with fuel.
What is the issue that caused you to go searching for the leak. You could pressure test it, but if there is not enough you still would need to find out where the loss is. If your unable to find a leak, it may be more internal.
its is still running well and doesn't over heat. If the leak is from the overflow tank shoundn't leak while the engine is not running? i don't think it holes pressure
also if i pressure test it would i be able to hear it if its the LIM leaking?
well i finally did a pressure test and it wasthe LIM gaskets. had the replaced and it cost me $430 bucks which i don't think is that bad for the price

My coolant leaked out and on top there is a large hard plastic container, I had to replace it, that stopped my coolant leak.

You may be developing a worn head gasket which can allow oil to flow into the engines cooling jacket. If your engine is running rough this is usually a good idication that there is a head gasket leak.
SOURCE: 2007 Kia Spectra has coolant loss. Pressure test
in this case i would suspect the water pump,it would not really show up in a pressure test ,put a paper liner under the car at night and see if any water shows up on it in the morning,if it is ok, then the water could be lnternal ie the engine is taking the water, but 2007 engine should not have this problem unless it has a very high milage.one more [simple] answer is the coolant leaking from a simple loose conaction and drying up before you see it ,but water leaves a trace so have a good look about the engine for that water mark, please rate this answer.adrian,,,,,,,,,,,

sounds like you didn't seat the new thermostat correctly, check that first. Other then that you will need to have it pressure tested again to find out what else is leaking.

Possible leak areas waterpump, heater core, intake manifold gasket, radiator or hoses. Waterpumps have what they call "weep holes" which is an early warning system to prevent major damage when pump fails. The weep hole needs to be inspected from below and is usual behind waterpump pulley. If it's your heater core, you should smell anti freeze inside truck and in most cases windshield will fog up. Radiator could be pin hole to front side of radiator (which is buried behind AC condenser & grill) and if it was head gasket, intake manifold symptoms would be coolant in oil OR lots of white smoke from exhaust. Try parking it on a clean dry surface and see if you can narrow down area where leak is coming from.

i have already replaced the water pump and the over flow container doesn't leak while the car is offf
could have too much water in coolant system causing evaporation lost of coolant. you need 50/50 mixture dexcool and water or you can buy premix.
i have a feeling now that it is the surge/overflow tank. would it allow alot a water to leak out or would it only allow a certain amount to leak out when i drive it?
also, i did check the dip stick. i have also change the oil since i've had this problem and the oil look fine.
