I saw this issue a few times and it was usually a bulb that went out. If it happened after the car was worked on, they may have taken dash off and bumped it and caused the bulbs to go out. If you give it soft bump it may come on. If not the bulb could be out.

SOURCE: 1997 pontiac bonneville will not turn over no

Check your battery cable connections. If there are no signs of corrosion and none of them are loose, check the other end of the cables i.e. for the positive cable, the starter solenoid connection and the negative cable at the "ground" connection probably on the engine block.

check your fuse 1st- then if still nothing, you might have an electrical short at the lamp.

1991 sable dash lights go out

Have you tried to replace the headlight switch? I ask that because you say the radio and clock go out, with the headlights on clock and radio go dim, so not so bright at night but bright in day to see them. So maybe the switch is bad?

2005 buick lacrosse cxl... dash lights and interior lights are going dim to bring to dim to bright very rapidly

First, check that the battery connections are clean and not corroded. If not look for the ground wires that connect to the chassis. Check to see if any are corroded or loose. Finally if that has no effect, you have a short somewhere in your wiring. The easy way to isolate it is to pull the fuses for each device one by one and see if the dimming stops. The last one to cause the dimming is the problem. If it happens when you hit a bump it also might be a ground fault in the interior car grounds....good luck!

The inside panel lights, radio lights and outside lights are constantly blinking. they do not go out they go from bright to dim and dim to bright.

Check you power leads to the fuse box and check the battery connections as well. Also, consider having the battery load tested if it is nearing the end of its life.

My dash lights and radio lights blink from bright

It sounds like a poor Ground connection, Start by checking the connector that connects to the Instrument Cluster then see if one wire is terminated to the Metal components of the Dash Board. This would be the Master Ground connection for ALL Instrument lights and typically would include any other Lights on the Same Circuit. You will most likely find a loose sheet metal screw making this Ground Connection. With a high resistance connection the lights would be somewhat dim. If they flash between Dim and Bright it is an intermittent connection causing it. Almost always this will be found to be a loose screw connecting the Ground to the Chassis.

Dim Dashboard read

On most vehicles you have a dimmer switch ( not talking about headlights) which you can adjust how bright or how dim the dashboard lights are because some people want them bright and others prefer dim either check your owners manual or check all around for it from drivers seat ( within drivers reach) when you find it if you can't adjust it then you want to consider replacing dash lights or switch.

Radio

First check to see if the fuse to the radio is burned out. Then check to see if you are in fact geting power to both the radio and the radio memory. There are two power wires going to the radio unit. One is always hot the other only when the key is on. If all of these things check out to be good you have a burned out tuner in the radio. It some times happens when the voltage is more than 12.5 volts.
