Question about 2008 GMC Acadia
After bumping the Passengers Mirror in the Garage, the LED light in the Mirror has quit working, since that is not covered under warranty, I need to know the correct disassembly of the mirror in order to replace it. These have the Powered, Heated and auto dimming mirrors. I can see the screws for the light, but how does the mirror come out.
A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

SOURCE: how to replace broken mirror
Remove the door panel, then remove the speaker inside the door opposite the mirror itself. Then it is usually an allen key bolt or 3 depending on the year. It will come off as one big unit.

open the door, on the opposite side of the mirror there is an interior panel, remove it, there are 3 nuts in there remove those, the mirror should come off, if it is power be sure to unplug it.

i kind of dought there would be 1 fuse for one mirror if anything there be 1fuse for both mirrors. chances are what happend is this, they work like your rear window defroster on the rear window you see little wires that run across the window, same with mirror, the wire that heats them little wires most likely broke.

On my '97, there was a triangular shaped piece of plastic on the inside trim that had to be removed. I think all three mounting screws were under that. It's been a few years, but I think that was how it was done.
I remember it was pretty easy though.
