Hi my name is Allen!

Here is how to change the brake light bulbs, first pull the carpet down that runs up the back covering where the light assembly is installed, next grab the wing nuts, they are black in color, they are designed so you can turn them with your fingers, remove all of them, then pull straight out with the brake lamp assembly.

After the assembly is removed, grab the socket on the back with the wires coming out of it and turn it counter clockwise and pull it straight out, then grab the bulb and pull it straight out and push the new one back in, that's it.

How to replace the brake light bulb in 2010 Chrysler Sebring retractable hardtop

Open the trunk, remove the plastic jamb cover and then the interior cover from the inside of whichever side you want to remove, the remove the plastic wing nuts, and the tail lamp assembly should pop right out allowing you access to the bulb housings which twist lock in to the back of the housing. Hope that helped!

How do I change the interior light in a 2002 chrysler sebring

perhaps if you were to take a good picture and post it we would have a better idea, as I can not imagine a metal cover over the bulb unless it is some sort of heat shield .

2002 chrysler sebring, the drivers tail light, running light portion of the bulb keeps blowing, brake and signal are fine.

Is your lense cracked where water can get into the housing? Are you absolutely certain that you are replacing it with the correct bulb? Are you using a good name brand bulb like Wagner or Sylvania? or some off-brand cheap bulb made in China?

How do I replace the brake light bulb in a volvo S80 2001? I am getting the message "check brake light." Is this a fuse or bulb problem? I have never done this before. Can anyone help?

This would be a bulb problem. You can open up your trunk, pull back the liner, and find the screws that hold the lens on, remove the screws, pry off lens and then push in and turn counter clockwise to remove the bulb. Then the new bulb pushes in and turns clockwise to lock in place.

Chang brakelights on a sebrig

Hello!

  1. Open the trunk by using the driver's side trunk release latch or by manually unlocking it.
  2. Peel back the trunk liner to expose the wiring connector and taillight housing plastic retainers.
  3. Disconnect the wiring connector, loosen the plastic retainers and remove the taillight assembly from the car.
  4. Twist the turn signal bulb socket counterclockwise to remove it from the taillight assembly. Then, pull the malfunctioning bulb straight out of the socket.
  5. Insert the replacement bulb directly into the empty socket and then twist the socket back into the taillight assembly.
  6. Reinstall the tail light assembly.
  7. Activate the turn signal to make sure it's working. If it lights up, fasten the trunk lining back into place and close the trunk

How to change right headlight on 2006 chry. sebring

It's very tight under the hood with these cars, you just have to unscrew the two (or three) long bolts holding the entire headlamp enclosure in, pull the headlamp enclosure out and rotate the bulb to remove it. Some sebrings have a cylindrical plastic guard around the main bulb, that just screws off as well. You might have to adjust your headlights after you change them.
