My 2000 Grand Cherokee has electrical probs, the passenger side electric windows have stopped workind and the dome light will not go out, but if I remove fuse No. 12 and leave it out for 30 min then replace it all the problems disappear for about 10 min then the same prob's start. Do you think its the Body Contoler ECU and if so where is it on the car, and can I get a replacement part and refit it or do I need to get it re-programed by a dealer, the problem is I am in the UK and my Jeep is in Spain so I need an answer before I next go over.

My friend, you just have a ground problem. The window motors will not operate without a ground. The dome light will STAY on without a ground because the ground is connected when the doors are closed against the buttons in the door frame. Any time you have an electrical problem, ALWAYS check the body ground wire connections FIRST.

If you have the same pulley arrangement that most 4.0 engines have that pulley is an idler not a tensioner. Your power steering pump has a pivot bolt, and a slide under the pump. You adjust belt tension using the pump.

I have a lhd grand cherokee and ive lost positive feed to passenger side electric windows and folding door mirror checked fuses no fuse for electric windows

There is only one fuse for all power window and power mirror operation (Fuse 12 (50A) in under hood fuse panel). If the passenger side window and mirror functions are not working, and you have verified that there is no power going to the passenger door module (pin 1 of C1 connector), then there is a wiring issue in the harness.

Have a 2004 Cherokee. The electric windows do not work, the electric doors don't lock (except for drives side) and dome light wont shut off

if memory serves right that jeep has a built in door lock module in the door that goes bad.
if you have a scanner you can check for codes

1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo Electrical issues.

the button that pushed in when you close the door could be bad its literally like a $10 part and plugs in and is only held in with one screw. My interior lights used to flash on and off and i replaced that and now good as new, but you would need to figure out which door is doing it by pushing the button in manually
