If you've checked all fuses inside & outside, under hood, you may want to locate your fusible links under hood probably, and test them.

You have checked the fuse box check thre accessory fuse , they bundle up all your items in one fuse is usually a 25 amp fuse. there might be another fuse box under the hood do some searching and use a test light to see if the fuses are good or bad.

Hello I lost power in my cig. lighter and horn but when I went to replace the fuse there isn't one for it. could youtell me how I get power back to these items

All electrical circuits are protected by fuses or fusible links, check the operators manual to see what fuse protects what and if there is actually no fuse in the panel for the cig/horn then you need to check the fusible links. They come off of the starter live post on the starter solenoid switch and to check them just give them a tug,the blown link will feel like a piece of rubber rather than a piece of wire.Merry Christmas and good luck!

2006 chev malibu fuses where are they automatic mirror adj, cig lighter and right rear tailight (Break)

theres a fuse box under the rear driver side tail light, open the trunk theres a small space to for storage, look underneath it u'll see a "door" open then look for a black box. it flips down, it has ur basic fuse, tail lights, **** like that, all other major ones like horn are under the hood between the driver fender and the battery

Cig lighter fuse blew. renewed but cig lighter and remote key not

you probably didnt change the right fuse and had another one blown at the same time you also could have a primary fuse under the hood that blew. once fixed dont use pump again. not same amps drawn

Please help me with power in cig lighter

Hi, grab a voltmeter and test volts at car lighter connector, near to car lighter socket, if there is volts in there (uncommon) , then check for short or broken contact on car lighter socket, or replace the first socket connected in line.

If there is no voltage getting to cig lighter, check the two connections at the back of the fuse box, on the cigarette lighter fuse.

If there is volts only on one side, then fuse is gone again, in that case there is a short on wiring, maybe on one of lighters, locate it and fix it.

If there is power on both sides of the fuse, then fix or replace wiring between fuse box and cigarette lighter, one wire is broken.

If there is no power on both sides of lighter fuse, then fix the wiring between fuse box cig. lighter contact and battery, if this is too complicate you can even build a new wiring and solder in place of the old one.

If the lighters have more than one fuse, do the same job for both lighter. Cig. lighters do not use a relay, and there is no additional fuse, the above procedure is enough to fix any possible problem on such a simple device.

If you have no practice with this kind of repair on car electrical system, then better to go to a car electrician or mechanic rather then messing up the car electric system.

Please do not forget to leave us feedback afterward, that is important for us.

Many thanks.

My 1990 Olds Cutlass Calais is missing the fuse box cover and therefore has no diagram for fuse placement. Is one available online? Copy I can print or just refer to in order to replace correct fuses?

I have always had a place in my heart for the Olds Cutlass. I own a '90 Olds Cutlass Calais--WITH the fuse box COVER. I went out to the car and removed the cover and have it next to me so that I can type the EXACT fuse order as they appear on the inside cover. There are 2 col. When I've finished the l/h side, I'll make a line to indicate the start of the r/h side. I will also put the Circuit on the left & fuse on the right. If you are ready, HERE WE GO:

Electrical Problem

I would operate one by one mirrors left-right,radio, electric locks.
I would first dont operate side mirrors and observe if fuse remain then leave radio disconected (dont power on or remove its wire harness). If with radio disconnected fuse is not blown, i would use electrical locking and test again.
Good Luck
