There is a leek in your lines, go to your nearest car accessories supplyer and get a jug of leekspotter (even the radiator stuff will work) rub this stuff on the pipes leading too and from your dump valve and you will spot a leek somewhere.
;-)

good luck!

Power surging when accelerating

Fuel pressure Normal range is 35 to 70 PSI. Without the proper fuel pressure needed the vehicle surges and looses power especially goin up hill and at WOT(wide open throttle) . Its a good call if you change full filter your going to any way. you got a surge going on. Also check the airfilter once that plugs up it will also cause the surge. Surges happen when it lacks something so your getting less of some thing

its time to stop wasting money guessing and verify if parts are good/ bad. ck fuel pressure, and check the tps (Throttle Position Sensor) , see if it runs better with the EGR valve disconnected. If it does, replace it Use only AC DELCO parts they will need number off old EGR valve usually starts with 17------. NOT from ottozone or others.

Change clutch

Sounds like transfer case issue if 4 wheel drive works and 2 wd does not. Clutch slippage would be worse in 4 wheel drive more than 2 wheel drive, more to push.
