- Thanks Guru. I do know where the battery is, just needed to know what to undo to get the thing out as there's all sorts attached.

- There's a kind of cartridge on top of the battery with four wures and three fuses attached, also there's a clamp. Was wondering how to undo the clamp as it's not obvious and whether the cartirdge with wires is detachable without undoing the wires....

- Thank you. That's exactly what I needed to know :-)

first, you have to find the battery first.

its either in the engine compartment,
or underneath the driver's chair,
or at the passenger side,
or at the trunk.

if you found it, make sure you label all the wires that you are going to take out.
then remove the battery post, remove tha battery clamp,
then you can remove your battery.

- ok,

so all the sorts that you are talking would be the wires from the positive and the negative cables.
label each one so that in returning them, you won't be confused in returning each wire.

Tnx 4 using fixya,

- the cartridge with fuses are bolted to a terminal post of the battery by a nut. then the clamp that holds the battery are secured by long bolts that are hooked under the flat surface where the battery seats. un loosen the nuts that are holding the battery clamp then remove the clamp, then you can remove the battery post with the cartridge in it.
