Question about 1992 Lexus Sc 400
I have a 1998 Lexus sedan whose trunk is locked & I do not have a key. The release latch is also locked. The lexus dealer wants $300.00 to make a new key.
Is there a cheaper way to solve this problem?
If your ignition keys are in the trunk the best thing to do is call a locksmith and have him make you a key without an immobilizer chip in it, no programming necessary with a mechanical key just to open the trunk. if you have no keys in the trunk then you will have to order them from the dealer or the locksmith can make you a key with the immobilizer chip and program it. if you can obtain your key code this will make it much cheaper
