Question about 1999 Dodge Ram
I have a 1999 dodge ram 1500 5.9 liter the alternator was putting out 16 volts and cooked my battery We replaced the alternator and it still was putting out 16 volts also caused the airbag light to go on and off.
The voltage is controled by the ecm you will need a scanner to be able to read the date stream . the odds are that ecm has failed.
