How to replace the fuel pump on 98 lincoln mark VIII

Is that an electric fuel pump? If so, you have to unlock the locking ring at the top of the gas tank, where you pump gas in.

Front air suspension not working

Or for under $400 you can buy a coil spring conversion kit from a company like
Arnott. Look for coil spring conversion kit exclusively designed for the Lincoln Mark VIII. The kit converts the entire vehicle to a reliable coil spring/strut suspension system. Also look for a kit the required no special tools and comes with detailed installation instructions.

I have a 98 lincoln mark 8 and recently converted the air ride system to a conversion kit my question is i want to take the fuse out for the air compressor but cant find the fuse. Does any one knows the...

Don't worry about the fuse. Keep in mind when you remove the sensors & solenoids and such, the system will detect that and immediately shut down the system. You want it to do just don't want to hear about it. This is where you cut 1 wire. Go below for instructions:

Now, the area you'll be working in is the RF kick panel. First of all, lets make sure you've located the correct module. The air suspension module is behind & above the RF kickpanel. Then look for the black module with 2 connectors going into it. One connector is black, the other is gray.
The gray connector is the one you want. The wire your looking for to defeat the check suspension message is the Dark Green with a Light Green stripe(tracer) located in the gray connector. It is pin #12, circuit 419, on the gray connector.
Because there's allot of "spaghetti" up in there, the key to making this easy to do, is is to disconnect the gray connector by depressing the little center button, then giving that gray(light colored) connector a good yank to bring it closer to you for inspection. You should be able to see the wires a little better now.
The wire you're looking for is the DARK GREEN with a LIGHT GREEN STRIPE. If you're still unsure if you have the correct bundle of wires, the wire color right next to it is Brown with a Pink stripe......and the wire on the other side(inside) is an Orange with a Light Blue stripe.
Simply cut the DARK GREEN with a LIGHT GREEN STRIPE wire and put some black tape around the end of the wire that's coming from the module to keep from shorting out. Now push & connect the connector back up in the module, making sure to hear or feel the "click" when the connector is locked.
Now, TURN ON the suspension switch in the trunk. If done correctly, you will never, ever have a suspension light again! Instructions how to do the complete conversion is available here.

Where is the air suspension compressor relay located on a 1998 lincoln Mark VIII?

the height sensors work as relays. it lets the computer know when an air spring needs air. if one air spring needs air, but all the others are level, the air spring needs replacing. it means it's leaking.
