Start your cr-v and let idle for 10 or so seconds in park. shut it off and check the fluid with in 30 seconds. if you check the fluid running it will read low and get overfilled. level ground is also important.

I have 2003 envoy. when i put it into drive(D) it acts like i'm in nuetral or park when touch the gas pedal. anyone have any ideas?

(Not a mechanic) First thing to check is the transmission fluid level. If excessivly low it may not move. (Usually check trans fluid with transmission dip stick, while engine is idling and warmed up) Consult owners manual to verify procedure. If your fluid levels are normal or close to normal, you should call a transmission shop unless you are or know a good mechanic.

Sounds like its in neutral when in drive

If it's an automatic trans and you mean it revs real high(like in nuetral)then jerks into gear then the ****** is going bad.check to make sure the fluid level is right(do not overfill) and check to see wether you are leaking any ****** fluid. Also if you pull the ****** dipstick and it gives off a burnt smell then you know its going up.

2001 Honda CRV dash brake light comes on and won't turn off one day, the next day it's fine, then it repeats.

This is also a warning light for the brake system. You may need to replace the brake pads. The light will come one when the brake fluid level goes below a preset limit. It could also mean the brake fluid is just low add more brake fluid to "MAX" line on the side of the brake master cylinder mounted at the firewall in the engine compartment. The reason it turns on and off is due to the fluid sloshing up and down over the low level sensor. Good luck to you

My tranny on my 94 accord started driving sluggish and felt like it was grinding a little, then stopped going into gear and now only goes into park nothing else is the tranny died

Check the fluid level and you will have to pull the pan on the transmisson and replace the oil and filter if you remove the pan and see metal in the pan or chunks of a fibrous material it iwill need to be overhauled.

When idoling in park my automatic trans makes a high pitched buzz

Check the transmission fluid level, if that is ok have the transmission fluid and filter changed. Sometimes the filter can fall on the transmission pan and can cause problems. Worst it's your front pump going bad. look for bubbles on your dip stick when checking your fluid and that's a abd sign, Good luck
