Question about 2000 Ford Focus
Did you empty the old stuff first? To do this you need to remove the transmission pan and it should all come out from there. Scrape off the old gasket and put in a new filter and gasket which you can get from an auto parts store. Then put the pan back on and you fill it through the dipstick tube. You may need a long skinny funnel to help get it in. Poor in the minimum recommended amount, drive it for 5 minutes and check and add as needed. Make sure you don't over add as it is easier to add than remove. Let me know if you have any further questions. Good luck
