If it's not working on HIGH speed it's a fuse that you will find inline and up on the firewall amongst the wires coming from the blower motor. I would first hook a wire to the positive side of the battery and touch it to the terminal on the blower motor. If it's the other speeds rather than the high speed I believe that is taken care of by replacing a fuse in the fuse block down under the dash on the drivers side. Good Luck!!

Heater fan doesn't work in my 1993 chevy pickup ticking noise when I turn key on and after I turn it off for about 10 seconds

The Recirulation, temp and mode doors are opened and closed by electric motor actuators. If the door is stuck, the actuator will make that kind of ticking noise--also if the actuator is on it's way out. As for the blower motor itself, there are two relays and 25A fuse. check those

Heater fan not working in a 1996 Chevy S-10

I looked at wiring diagrams at bbbindustries: the orange wire to the 20 amp htr fuse is direct from the ignition switch. You might check: that orange wire splices to the 10 amp brake fuse (fuse #12). check if that also has any voltage problems.
There are two black fusible links that supply power to the ignition switch. the fusible links come from the battery junction block.

Chevy 454 back fire

Ignition timing is set by the computer as long as the distributor pickup point is within reason.

It could be running too lean. One of the TBI injectors may be sticking or not working (wiring or computer problem), or fuel pressure could be low.
