Question about 2002 Dodge Ram Maxi
My heater only worked on high, now doesnt work at all. how do i know if the blower is bad or the heater core. My truck emitted smoke (electical odor) from air vents- fan works only on high. If resistor is bad where is it located?
This is likely a short in the power distribution block located on your stearing column. There was a recall for this problem. Contact the dealer for information.

The resister block for the fan went. look under the dash on the duct work near the fan for an electrical fitting that goes into the duct work... should be two or three screws holding it in... remove the part and replace it...... perhaps unhook the battery first.
