Problem is related to "load reduction relay". Verify for a signal and ground at the relay. if both are present, replace the relay. They are not available at autoparts stores.

SOURCE: Blower motor in 2006 Jetta stopped working

If its the interior fan motor, check and see if it works on the highest speed,if it does its probably the fan resistor which is located on the passenger side front under the dash. There should be a cover underneath which has 2 plastic screws holding it in place.Once thats off,you should see the blower motor and next to that is the resistor, which has about 4 wires connected to it.Unclip the resistor from the fan housing and renew, problem should be resolved.

2006 VW Jetta TDI no heat, no air , blower works.

Sounds like a problem with either the vacuum system or electronic system of the controller that controls which flaps are open. These flaps direct the air to the window or floor or dash etc.

06 Jetta TDI. Blower motor and washer sprayer not working.

Hope you have checked on the main FUSE box for the blower and also the wiper washer circuit fuse. In some cases if this is shared by a common ground you need to check on for poor connection. It is ideal that you take a voltage test on the motors and confirm if the +12 is present , if so the ground is faulty. Also trace the +12 if absent back through the harness and to the switch.

Blower swith in position 1,2,3 no blower, in

Check the cover for the environmental cabin filter. It is located on the far right side of the cowling right below the right windshield wiper. There are a few torx screws that secure the cover and then it pulls out to reveal the cabin filter. The cover (being poorly designed by VW) cracks and during rain the rain runs off the window and soaks the cabin filter. The water from the soaked filter then drips down into the blower motor and shorts out the resistor module at the bottom of the blower motor. The blower will continue to operate at full speed because it is operating on an open circuit without need for resistance for the resistor pack. There is a small access "panel" at the bottom of the blower motor you will need to remove in order to see the problem, you should see a frighteningly burned looking module in there. Good Luck! Hope this helps!
