Was driving down the road ran over a deer hard body hit underneath of the car it drove about 6 miles car started acting funny and lost power like it wasnt getting any fuel does any one know what couuld have happend and how to fix it.

Could also be fuel pump. These are quite easy to change as there is an access hole in the trunk.....

I'd start by tracing the fuel supply and return lines from the gas tank to the engine compartment. Make sure that they are free of kinks or other damage.

Next, check the fuse box and make sure there is power to the fuel pump. Trace the electrical connections leaving the fuel tank and make sure they weren't torn or otherwise damaged by the tire tread.

the useual problem with this engine is the head gasket leaking, that sounds like what is going on with your Northstar.
